complaint months ago that there are three places where DPW landscape contractors removed three trees near the Mt. Auburn St sidewalk and ground the stumps extremely well. HOWEVER, that was 4+ years and the Park Dept has never raked and reseeded the area. I have photos but can only email them. This is a simply project and is SHOCKING!
ALSO: DPW landscapers planted three trees also near the Mt. Auburn St. sidewalk. They died almost immediately. The woman I complained to a couple of years ago understood and said the had had trouble with being sent bad specimens.

BUT — the other issue of the three places across the entrance walk where the three tree stumps were taken out and chipped have still not been raked and seeded. Clearly the park landscape staff have been in the park as they replanted the trees mentioned above but ignored the simpler problem. As long as the ground isn’t frozen it at least could be raked and prepared for seeding.
