Roots from a City tree in front of our house has caused the sidewalk to lift dramatically causing a fall risk. It has also caused the concrete curb to break off completely. Please repair.

This will be my 3rd request and I have called multiple times.
We live at 3651 dorisa ave. We have some large trees in front of our house on the street side of the sidewalk that are growing into and putting weight on the power lines connected to our home. One of the trees already broke and nearly crushed our home and they are in danger of breaking again and bringing down our powerlines causing a fire or damage to our house. Please come out and trim ASAP. We were told on the phone that the city no longer does trimming unless a emergency or “hazardous” situation, and this is no doubt a hazardous situation. Are we supposed to wait until a fire occurs? If this happens, I will have documentation stating I informed the city of this hazardous situation multiple times and that is where the liability will lie.
