Still think the house needs to "untackify" the Halloween displays. I'm all for decorations but......
1. Very early for Halloween
2. They're pretty tastelessI'm sure the owners mean well but it just doesn't fit in the great Goatville neighborhood.....house would fit in better somewhere else

COVID-19 and Reopening Concerns Archived721 Orange St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - East Rock
Last month I posted about a butcher at P&M Orange St Market consistently wearing his mask below his face, despite my complaints. (I remembered this guy—an older man with gray facial hair—in particular because he was openly grumbling about COVID not being a big deal at the beginning of the pandemic.) One morning this week I was back in the store and saw the same guy with his mask below his mouth, working with food, and helping customers.
I’m not in the habit of ratting people out like this. I would just like to feel safe when I shop at a favorite local establishment.

SNOW RELATED ArchivedNash St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - East RockSince there is no parking on the odd number side of the street during a snow storm, please plow toward the odd number side instead of plowing in all of the cars parked legally on the even side. This is a continuous problem.

COVID-19 and Reopening Concerns Archived974 State St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Bishop-HineI am writing as a pedestrian that frequently needs to walk down state street. As outdoor/indoor dining has reopened it has been increasingly hard to avoid mask-less diners while walking down the street. Often, the only way to avoid walking right next to these diners is to walk in the street. Now, this upper state street restaurant is building out a patio in the street to expand their outdoor dining area. This eliminates any way to walk down this block of state street while avoiding mask-less restaurant goers. In fact many of the upper state street restaurants are taking over the entire sidewalk area for dining. How are folks that need to use the sidewalk to access their dwellings suppose to be able to safely walk without having to expose themselves to folks eating and drinking with no masks? I would like the see the city consider how to create safe walkways where folks that don't want to come within 6ft feet of people with no masks on can safely walk down city sidewalks.
