Description
The Glenwood/Whitaker Mill/Fairview intersection is being blocked by cars in the Underwood Elementary carpool pickup line. Northbound Glenwood right turn lane is full of cars trying to turn right onto Fairview but they cannot move. Cars in southbound Glenwood left turn lane try to go onto Fairview but cannot clear the intersection. The pickup line needs to be rerouted somewhere before a serious accident occurs.

What can they do to resolve this? Move traffic to neighborhood streets? "Bring a solution, not a problem."
We have a special jewel in our neighborhood (an award winning 100 year old elementary school) that is very active, and for weekday afternoons, 9months of the year, there is a 20 minute traffic backup. That school does wonders for our community by attracting young families. We chose to live downtown, and this is part of the charm we assume. North Raleigh has unlimited parking if that is your priority.

This has nothing to do with parking. My priority is to prevent accidents and total gridlock at the 5 Points intersection, which is complicated and dangerous at the best of times. An appropriate solution should be worked out by city traffic engineers, school staff, and neighbors.
(Your implied suggestion that one move from the neighborhood rather than point out a problem, is inappropriate for See, Click, Fix.)
